World Cup 2006

Brazil won 3-0 against Ghana.. Woohooo!!! And Ronaldo scored again. Now he is the world's top scorer of all time beating Gerd Muller of West Germany. The other game was won by Ukraine through penalty. Now, all the spots of the quarterfinal matches have been decided with Germany vs Argentina, England vs Portugal, Brazil vs France and Italy vs Ukraine. Next match will be tomorrow night. Germany against Argentina. Tonight, will get some good sleep. Preparing for tomorrow. I hope Brazil, England and Italy will go through to the semi-final..

Wimbledon Open

Wimbledon Open has started and now in its second round. Nothing much to say because didn't really following the open. I was busy with world cup. But I hope Rafael Nadal will win for the men's category and Venus William for the women's.

Adult vcd for RM$15???

Went to Miri yesterday to accompany my father. Bought new headphone. This is the third one. The others were rusak dah. Hehe.. ganas. There was something that I never see before. Well, went to one of the cd shops there and I came across folders that say adult movie.. Hehe. Being so curious(haha.. really?), I glanced around to check if there's people nearby. Line was clear except the sales girl. But what the heck. So flipped one of the folders. Yes, there were adult movies. A lot of them.. Dvds are sold for RM$25 and vcds for RM$15. So I was thinking I still have around RM$50. Enough... I might as well.. Haha.. Of course, I didn't buy it.. Karang..? I always thought adult movies are sold discreetly. But this one displayed at one of the racks with the other movies.. I also thought if you want to buy one, just ask the sales person, then, they will tell you if they have one.

On the way home, I almost had an accident with an ambulance. I was driving when the ambulance was overtaking a pickup from the opposite direction. It was so sudden. The ambulance was really fast. Good thing I braked so fast. If not.. Na'uzubillah..

World Cup 2006 Germany!!!

Hi guys!! It's the World Cup season. Right now, it came to the second round with so much drama. Red cards, upsets and injuries.. I don't really know what to write, my mind is working so well. I think it's because of the lack of sleeping. Too much world cup. I just want to update whatever stuffs that has happened during the world cup.

- Ronaldo equals Gerd Muller's record for the all-time top scorer in the world cup. Now he has scored 14 goals in 3 world cups.
- The highest number of cards being shown in a match with 20 cards altogether(16 yellow cards and 4 red cards).
- David Beckham is the only player from England who has scored in three different world cups. There are in 1998, 2002 and 2006.
- Switzerland is the only country in the world cup 2006 that has not conceeded a goal.
- Ghana, have reached the second round of the world cup, their first.
- There are more goals scored than the last world cup.
- Italy scored a very very last minute(few seconds before the whistle being blown) goal against Australia to reach the quarterfinal. The goal was scored by Totti after Italy were rewarded a penalty.

Here are the teams that are through to the quarterfinal after the second round of the world cup:

- Portugal
- Italy
- Ukraine

Two second round matches tonight and tomorrow morning will decide the other two teams that will go to the quarterfinals. There are:
- Ghana vs Brazil
- Spain vs France

Oh ya I forgot to you guys that I support England. Go England!! I also support Brazil and Italy but not as great as I support England. Maybe next post I will comment on England's performance in the World Cup 2006 in Germany. Chow!!

Again about...

Well, today is the first day of the Science and Technology Week. I went there just now. Not many people came to the event. This is my first time going there. I didn't go last year. Oh yeah, I didn't expect my English Dictionary program would be displayed in our department booth. But the program was not working properly so I had do some modifying to make it work and it worked.. Hehe.. There are other programs that my friends created that are displayed. Venus, mastermind and I solved a "Sudoko" puzzle. Since we solved it together, the comittee had to choose between us because there was only one prize. Well, guess what? I got it. Hehe.. Lucky.

Enough of that. Few days ago, I came across one article in the Borneo Bulletin that definitely shocking. It was about sex with children. Here is the article,

Netherlands outraged over 'paedophile' party AMSTERDAM(Reuters) - Dutch paedophiles are launching a political party to push a cut in the legal age for sexual relations to 12 from 16 and the legalisation of child pornography and sex with animals, sparking widespread outrage. The Charity, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) part said on its WEb site it would be officially registered on Wednesday, proclaiming: "We are going to shake The Hague awake!" The party said it wanted to cut the legal age for sexual relations to 12 and eventuallu scrap the limit together. The Netherlands, which already has liberal policies on soft drugs, prostitution and gay marriage, was shocked by the plan. "They make out as they want more rights for children. But their position that children should be allowed sexual contact from age 12 is of course just in their own interest," anti-paedophile campaigner Ireen van Engelen told the AD daily. Right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders said he had asked the government to investigate whether a party with such "sick ideas" could really be established, ANP news agency reported. Among other things, the party said everbody should allowed to go naked in public and promotes legalising all soft and hard drugs and free train travel for all.

So what do you guys think? It's appalling.. What is going on with our world? This is way over the line. I didn't expect this kind of group would be brave enough to go public.
